About The Author

Matt Sugrue works on international affairs and U.S. foreign policy, with a focus on the Middle East, North Africa, and arms control. Matt has an M.A. in the history of the Middle East and South Asia from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. While traveling through Lebanon and Syria, Matt discovered that he enjoys Arak but not raw meat.
